The first Lady Chief senior
we'd like to recognize tonight is Ashley Hill. Her parents,
Beth and Butch accompany her on the field. Ashley began
playing recreational soccer in the second grade and began
playing club soccer in the forth grade for the Cherokee
Lady Knights. She has also played for Top Hat and the
Cherokee Impact.
Ashley began playing for the Sequoyah JV Lady Chiefs in
the 8th grade, and has played for the Varsity Lady Chiefs
since her freshman year. She is one of the co-captains
this season.
Her most interesting soccer memory was all the late nights
spent in the front yards of the coaches homes redecorating
with toilet paper, and of course all of the amazing county
rivalry games.
Ashley will be attending the University of Georgia on
the HOPE scholarship, majoring in business.
She would like to say to the Lady Chief's, "I'm so
glad I got to know and play with so many great girls!
Keep playing hard and having fun. I'm going to miss you
all so much
I love you guys"

Next, we'd like to recognize
Hannah Lee, joined by her parents Sue Anne and Steven.
Hannah started playing soccer when she was 7 years old
and played for the Peachtree Lasers. She gave up club
ball when she tore her ACL, but continued playing in high
school.
This is Hannah's second year with the Lady Chiefs Varsity,
having played at McIntosh High School before moving to
Sequoyah High School.
Her most memorable soccer moment was during this seasons
Douglas County game when she and Dee picked up the moldy-black
thing to cover up the sewer stench.
Hannah will be attending Cornell University on an academic
scholarship.
She would like to thank her parents for everything and
to her fellow Lady Chief's, "thank you for 2 great
years of kick-ass soccer. Play tough, look out for one
another and have fun. I'll miss this so much! Love from
Lee-Lee."

Our next senior we'd like to
recognize is Amy Moore, escorted by her parents Rebecca
& Dennis. Amy a started playing recreational soccer
when she was three years old and played club soccer with
the Cherokee Lady Knights since the fifth grade.
Amy's high school experience includes one year with the
Lady Chief's JV and earning a two year letter with the
Lady Chief's Varsity.
Her best soccer memory occurred when the Lady Chief's
played the lady Hornets from Roswell High School and she
scored a goal off a free kick.
Amy will be attending Georgia State University, but is
undecided on her course of study at this time. Amy would
like to thank her parents for their support and cheering
her on every time she stepped on the field. And to all
her fellow Lady Chief's, "I've had loads of fun with
you all, on and off the field and I will certainly miss
all the good times we've had."
Ladies and Gentlemen: Amy Moore

Our last Lady Chief we'd like
to recognize Kaila Muecke, joined by her parents Lauri
& Mark. Kaila began playing recreational soccer when
she was 5 years old, first with the Brookwood soccer club
and then Athena club ball with the Cherokee Knights, Metro
North, Silverbacks and North Atlanta Soccer Association.
She also played on the Georgia ODP State Pool in 2006.
Kaila played for the Lady Chief's JV while in 8th grade
and has lettered with the Lady Chief's Varsity for four
years. She is one of the co-captains with this year's
team.
Kaila has two memorable moments - first during the Walton
HS game her sophomore year when she put the hit on a girl
so hard you could hear the crack in the stands. Butch
Hill said it brought a tear to his eye as it reminded
him of his college linebacker days. As a token of thanks
for this flashback he rewarded Kaila with 5 bucks. The
second is all the good times with the girls on the team
singing
on the bus rides, all the crazy "inside" jokes,
and the late nights spent in the front yards of the coach's
homes with hundreds of rolls of toilet paper.
Kaila will be attending Georgia State University on a
soccer scholarship, playing with the Lady Panther's. She
plans to study business marketing.
Kaila would like to say, "I love my girls on the
team and I'm gonna' miss you guys so much. I've grown
strong relationships with the girls and I'm going to miss
that a lot. I would also like to thank my parents for
being there for me over the years. I love you. Oh yeah,
Caw Caw!"
Ladies and Gentlemen: Kaila Muecke
